What is your favourite part about teaching at Ora?
What I love and enjoy most about teaching Pilates is seeing the members becoming stronger, more confident, and of course, more competent in their own bodies. Additionally, I’m so very grateful of the community and relationships built with the team (fellow instructors) and the amazing members; it’s an environment that is most welcoming and cherished! And lastly, I challenge myself to always come up with new exercises that are fun, fresh and rewarding!
What is your favourite physical activity?
In addition to Pilates, I really enjoy hiking! However, I love running. I started running in 2000. For me, it’s connection with friends and when solo, it’s a highly effective form of meditation and exercise. On a long run, all that exists is that next step (no matter how fatigued you are); and then you appreciate that this also applies to life in general.
What is your favourite way to relax outside of the yoga studio?
Social gatherings, connecting with friends, visiting with my Mum. Gardening, playing music, or just sitting near a window with my 4-legged furry son!
