Our yoga studio offers a diverse mixture of both modern and traditional yoga. The modern classes are yoga based with an innovative fitness twist, adding more upbeat music and mood lighting. These modern, non-traditional classes are great for students looking for a more fitness based yoga class, while our more traditional classes are geared towards students looking for a more in-touch spiritual, slow experience.

AWAKEN

Start you day with intention and say good morning to your matt. This practice provides a beautiful balance of strength and length in traditional yoga postures with greater attention to the muscles and the breath. It’s the perfect way to start your day. Awaken is a Hatha based class for all levels of yoga experience.

BUTI YOGA

Buti is a Sanskrit word that means to “uncover something that is hidden”, with kundalini elements get ready to shake, dance, flow and work your asana off. Let go of your inhibitions, because this class is sure to bring out the goodness in you.

YIN-LICIOUS

A body that easily bends, does not as easily break”. As we age our body becomes more compressed and less mobile. We accept being still and sore however, it doesn’t have to be this way! While most methods of exercise target to strengthen muscles, Yin brings us into balance by strengthening deep into connective tissues, facia and bones. Yin is a practice of slowing down and letting go while holding postures for longer durations of 1-10 minutes in this class. This class will literally leave you feeling taller. Perfect for beginner and advanced Yogis.

UNWIND

Unwind is a relaxing yoga practice to de-stress and balance our bodies, improve flexibility and bring greater awareness to our mind, body and breath connection. Breath in the aroma therapy and wipe your sweat away with a cold eucalyptus towel. Once you are done with this class you will sleep like a baby.

VINYASA FLOW

“Train your body and feed your soul” Vinyasa is a moving meditation. The word literally means, breath-synchronized movement. This dynamic style of yoga uses breath to flow from posture to posture. We have also modified this class to fit those who have never experienced the fundamentals of yoga in the form of a separate beginners class. This class will elevate your Ora and leave you feeling refreshed and challenged any time of day.

A whole-hearted approach to honour your body, free your mind and connect to your soul. Guided mindfulness, meditation, mantra and movement. A foundational practice to increase self-awareness. R&B YOGA FLOW

Cultivate good feels from the inside out while you flow to classic R&B. Whether we slow it down with a little bit of Janet, or pick up the pace with TLC, notice how body, mind and spirit feels when you feed your soul with movement, breath work, and a mindful practice. Have a few of your own favourite R&B jams you want to flow to? Tell Jasmeen and she’ll be happy to play them, it’s your practice. Bring your favourite tunes, bring your best friend, bring your beautiful Ora and let your Ora shine with good vibes and a whole lot of love, I’ll meet you on your mat.

FLOW TO YIN

Feel the power of Flow and the letting go of Yin all in one perfect hour of bliss. This practice starts with Yoga Flow inviting movement and breath to fill the body with energy. Sometimes flow can challenge us physically, but this class is then balanced with a second practice of Yin Yoga. Yin is a practice of slowing down and letting muscles soften and rest for the purpose of strengthening our deeper connective tissues and bones. This class is sure to leave you feeling balanced and energized for your day.

Ora Restore Meditation
RESTORE-MEDITATION

Let your day melt away in this infrared heated practice that balances both Yin yoga with Restorative yoga followed with a guided meditation. This practice is designed to lengthen and open the body holding poses with props anywhere from 1-6 minutes. Restore and balance to heal theming with a 20 minute guided meditation to finish the practice. Journey into your true nature and develop skills to release and let go of tension, anxiety as well as strengthening our minds ability to cope with stress. “Let the world around you melt away with a guided meditation with emphasis on breath and connection within.”
